PROJECT "LAUNDRY", 2011
The video projection entitled "laundry" present the in-between points of a journey in the city of Corfu in Greece featuring compositions by housewives who, most likely, could not realize the impact of their work on the aesthetics of the city.
Those compositions became small oases in a city of a historical atmosphere and Venetian architecture.
The work consists of a projection on collage. The collage is a psychogeographic map of the city, which through repetition, reproduces my tour around the city in search of and the collection of laundries.

while I was searching for an escape from the city of Corfu I needed to choose a means of transport.
Everywhere stones, historic atmosphere, important architecture, identical forms and colours.
Gaze (maybe only my own) seeks an escape from monotony.
