The paintings above are samples of the study process of nude models. This study is divided in three different stages which are the realistic, the deconstructive and finally the abstract stage. The main objective of the first stage is the rendering of light in relation to the colours of the subject. The second stage is about the removal of the redundant elements of the subject and an overreaction to the saturation of colours caused by inklings of colours from the subject. In the final stage of the abstract process the painting focuses on areas of the body or on the body as a mass of energy. Acrylics were used on several qualities of paper as well as several kinds of glue for the matiera (texture).
